The DBA DBA4653S is a high-performance rear disc brake rotor engineered to provide superior stopping power and durability for demanding driving conditions. It is constructed from XG150 High Carbon Alloy Iron, a material selected for its resilience against warping and cracking under extreme heat, thereby ensuring a longer service life. This rotor incorporates DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, featuring 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars. The Tri-symmetrical slot design is universal, eliminating the need to differentiate between left and right rotors, while also decreasing vibration and noise for a more responsive and quieter pedal feel. These slots further enhance performance by increasing the exit points for brake pad friction gasses and dust, leading to more uniform and effective braking. DBA's 4000 Series T3 rotors are a direct replacement, meaning they are designed to fit without modification to your existing braking system. Each rotor also includes a thermographic heat paint that changes color at specific temperatures, allowing drivers to monitor peak braking temperatures and assess rotor fatigue. Non-friction areas are treated with paint protection to prevent rust formation and maintain a clean appearance. This rotor is sold individually.
