DBA 5000 Series T3 Front Brake Rotor

The DBA 5000 Series T3 Front Brake Rotor is a premium, two-piece performance rotor engineered for demanding driving conditions, including aggressive street use, track days, and high-speed braking. It builds upon the foundation of DBA's T2 slot design, incorporating additional tri-symmetrical slots that enhance pad bite, reduce noise and vibration, and facilitate the escape of brake pad dust and gases for more consistent stopping power. This rotor is specifically recommended by DBA for high-performance applications. Constructed with a lightweight aluminum center hat bonded to a high-carbon alloy iron rotor ring, this rotor utilizes DBA’s Kangaroo Paw ventilation system and Thermo-Graphic Heat Paint for superior heat management and thermal stability. This two-piece design not only reduces unsprung weight but also combats warping and extends pad life, even under extreme braking. The T3 rotors also feature Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) and temperature-indicating paint strips, providing valuable data for performance tuning and monitoring operating conditions. This DBA 5000 Series T3 Slotted Rotor is designed to fit specific Ford Mustang models: 2011-2014 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack, 2012-2013 Mustang BOSS 302, and 2007-2012 Mustang GT500. Installation is estimated to take approximately one hour. The rotor is sold individually and includes a set of aerospace-grade NAS bolts and crimp nuts, along with an instructional manual. It comes with a 12-month/20,000 KM or 12,000 miles warranty.
