DDC ECU Coilover Kit

The KW DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) ECU coilover suspension system is a high-end engineering product manufactured in Germany. This kit offers an adaptive damper system with app-controlled tuning and adjustable ride height. It includes KW INOX-LINE coilovers with stainless steel struts, electronically adjustable dampers, a high-performance electronic damper control unit with a vehicle-specific cable set, and a KW DDC control button for easy mode selection from the driver's seat. This coilover system provides three distinct damper setups: Sport, Sport+, and Comfort. These settings can be changed within milliseconds via the control button, adapting the suspension to various driving conditions. The suspension also adjusts automatically to sudden maneuvers in Comfort mode. For even greater customization, an optional DDC WLAN module allows for independent adjustment of the adaptive dampers per axle, catering to individual driving styles and specific conditions. The accompanying app is compatible with both Apple (iOS) and Android devices. The kit features a composite spring perch made from wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide with a stainless-steel insert, preventing oxidation and maximizing strength. The Inox-Line stainless steel construction ensures permanent corrosion resistance, and the seamless ride height adjustment is facilitated by the corrosion-resistant materials and composite perches. Elastomer bump stops with integrated dust protection systems help prevent contaminants from reaching the piston rod and seals, maintaining ride quality and durability. This kit offers front lowering from 0.4" to 1.6" and rear lowering from 0.8" to 1.8". The front height is adjustable via threaded shock bodies, and the rear height is adjustable via an adjustable spring perch. It is specifically designed for vehicles with a 54.6 mm clamp diameter on the front axle and is intended for vehicles *without* DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control).
