DDP 89-93 Dodge Cummins 5.9L 12V Injector Set - Stage 2

The DDP 8993-2 Stage 2 Injector Set is a brand new, matched set of injectors designed for 1989-1993 Dodge Cummins 5.9L 12 Valve First Generation engines. With proper supporting modifications, these injectors can support up to 350 RWHP while maintaining great smoke control. They should be used with a modified turbo and modified injection pump. A crucial note is that VE Rotary injection pumps should have an upgraded fuel pin installed, otherwise little to no gain will be seen from the injector upgrade. These injectors utilize Patented Pilot Hole Technology (2 pilots at 0.005") with a 5 Hole + 2 Pilot nozzle, allowing fuel to come in gradually to aid in spool time without excessive smoke. They feature a 245 BAR Pop Pressure and a SAC Nozzle style, with a Hole Count & Diameter of 5x12 48LPM 155 Deg. A 1.5MM copper washer is included.

Non-Intercooled engines have a 9mm diameter injector nozzle bore in the cylinder head from the factory. While many manufacturers provide a copper sleeve to adapt the 7mm diameter injector nozzle to the 9mm bore, Dynomite Diesel has been successfully running the standard 1.5mm copper washer with zero issues for over 20 years. They prefer the standard washer as it is 0.5mm thinner than the adapter sleeve, physically moving the nozzle tip closer to the piston for a cleaner burn, improved fuel economy, and power output. If desired, a 9mm adapter sleeve (Cummins PN: 3919358) can be used, but it is not recommended by Dynomite.
