DDRP Diesel Fuel Lift Pump

The FASS Dodge Replacement Pump (DRP) is engineered as a complete, direct replacement for the stock lift pump in 1998.5-2002 Dodge Cummins 24V diesel engines. It addresses the known reliability issues of OEM fuel transfer pumps, which can lead to costly repairs and damage to the VP44 injection pump. The DRP utilizes a larger, more powerful motor to ensure a consistent fuel pressure crucial for engine efficiency and performance. While it includes necessary installation hardware and fittings for the fuel line, you will need to change the stock steel fuel line from the pump to the filter housing with the included rubber fuel line. The pump is preset to 12-18 PSI and flows approximately 95 GPH, a 33% increase over stock, designed for stock horsepower applications. A four-year warranty is offered upon registration. Important compatibility notes: The DRP is not compatible with waste vegetable oil (WVO) or BioDiesel fuels. Trucks with retrofitted in-tank lift pumps will require a Fuel Sump Kit or Suction Tube to supply fuel to the DRP Lift Pump. Additionally, this pump does not fit late 2004.5 Cummins models, only early 2004 and older 24-valve engines. An optional pump relocation kit is available separately, which moves the lift pump closer to the fuel tank, allowing it to function more effectively as a 'pusher' pump under pressure rather than pulling fuel over a long distance. This can reduce strain on the motor and improve performance.
