The Blackout de-chrome kit provides a comprehensive solution for transforming the exterior of your MINI F56 (2014-2020 3DR Hatchback) and F57 (2016-2020 Convertible) models. This kit allows you to 'black out' the chrome accents on your vehicle, offering a sleek, customized look. The installation is described as super easy and quick, making it a significant aesthetic improvement. The kit includes components to cover or replace various exterior parts. Door handle covers simply clip over the existing chrome. The fuel cap cover utilizes 3M adhesive for a secure fit. For headlights and taillights, you can either cover the existing chrome rings or opt for replacement trims that come with new clips. The grill option includes either a cover that attaches over the existing grill or a direct replacement grill, which is a genuine MINI part. A DIY vinyl kit for the belt line is also included. Available finishes include Gloss Black, Carbon Look, and Matt Black for most components. However, replacements for the light surrounds are only available in Gloss Black. When choosing door handle covers, be aware of the 'Comfort Access' option, which is for models with a rubber button on the door handles for keyless entry. It is crucial to ensure the chrome surfaces are clean and dry before application for proper adhesion. **Important Compatibility Note:** This kit is explicitly stated to **NOT** fit the new LCI2 versions of the MINI F56 and F57.
