The Dorch Engineering DE1500 Gen1 B58 Injectors represent a significant advancement in direct injection (DI) fuel delivery for performance applications. As the world's first truly newly developed B58 DI injector, they eschew the compromised approach of modifying OEM units. Instead, Dorch Engineering, in collaboration with Stanadyne, has engineered these injectors from a blank slate, leveraging patented technology and manufacturing expertise to deliver a Tier 1 OEM quality product with substantial fueling gains. These injectors are meticulously optimized for the demands of the aftermarket performance world and are especially suited for alcohol-based fuels. Material choices ensure superior E85 compatibility and reliability, while an advanced magnetic design enhances ballistic control. This translates to improved low pulse-width control and complete command over the spray pattern, allowing for over 100% increased flow without sacrificing idle quality on pump gas. The DE1500 offers +70% additional flow beyond stock, with a flow rate of 1550cc at 200 bar, supporting up to 1050whp on gasoline and 800whp on E85. Software changes are required for these injectors to function correctly. Users can typically select an option within tuning suites like Bootmod3, MHD, or MG Flasher, or submit their .BIN file for custom calibration.
