Description

The Strong Arm 6286 is a trunk lid lift support designed for the 2005-2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Lift supports are pressurized cylinders that assist in holding hoods, hatches, and rear window glass open.

This lift support features a hardened, nitride-plated steel shaft for durability, a rubber O-ring piston seal to prevent leakage, and a heavy gauge steel body that is electrostatically painted and heat cured. It also includes a self-cleaning piston assembly for smooth operation and a quality precision upper bushing for exact fit and extended operating life. No special installation tools are required.
