Description

Constructed from aircraft-quality aluminum with a durable black powder-coated finish, this pan features added cooling fins for superior heat dissipation. By increasing the transmission's fluid capacity by an additional 1.5 quarts, this MaxCool pan can significantly reduce internal transmission temperatures by 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit, thereby extending the overall life of your transmission. It includes a magnetic drain plug to capture loose metal particles, preventing them from circulating and causing damage. The pan also features a unique o-ringed sealing surface to ensure a leak-free installation and a 1/8" NPT port for easy temperature gauge installation. This TCI Max-Cool Pan is specifically designed to fit Ford AODE/4R70W transmissions and is not applicable to the AOD transmission. It comes complete with new stainless steel hardware and Allen wrenches for a straightforward installation. Gasket and magnetic drain plug are included.
