Deep Transmission Pan with Drain and Magnetic Plug

The PML 9614-2 deep transmission pan is constructed with heavy-duty, thick-wall materials to provide enhanced durability and strength. It offers a 3-quart increase in fluid capacity compared to the stock pan, contributing to cooler transmission operation. This transmission pan is designed to work with both 8mm and 6mm bolts, accommodating different transmission configurations. It includes a magnetic drain plug to aid in fluid changes and simplify maintenance. The machined gasket flange ensures a precise and secure seal with the transmission housing. PML recommends using a 4WD filter, even on 2WD vehicles, due to the pickup tube design. It is crucial to check vehicle compatibility and clearance before ordering, as many configurations and potential interference issues exist. This pan does NOT fit the 5R55N, 5R55S, or 5R55W transmissions, which typically use a 16-bolt pan with a level check plug. The PML 9614-2 is a direct replacement for the obsolete PML 9614-1 pan.
