The Dee Zee DZ92847TB is a versatile combo unit that integrates a DOT-compliant diesel auxiliary tank with a robust, lockable toolbox. This design aims to maximize fuel capacity and secure storage while optimizing truck bed space. It is constructed from heavy-duty .125 Brite-Tread aluminum, offering durability, lightweight properties, and rust resistance. The tank features a radius curve design to minimize weld pressure points, stability baffles, and a 3/8-inch drainage plug. The integrated utility chest is made of .056 Brite Tread Aluminum, providing lockable storage with high-quality stainless steel paddle handles and gas shocks. The entire unit is finished with a protective NRT™ (No Rust Technology) black powder coat for enhanced ruggedness and corrosion resistance. These tanks are intended for private (non-commercial) use and are not designed to function as an auxiliary fuel system, nor do they meet Title 49 of the United States Federal Registry governing transportation.

Important Usage Warning: To ensure safety and optimal performance, Dee Zee advises against filling the transfer tank to 100% capacity. It is recommended to fill the tank to 90% of its capacity to allow for fuel expansion and vapor buildup, which helps prevent fuel leaks, increased pressure within the tank, and potential compliance issues.
