The Pioneer DEH-P4400 is an in-dash CD receiver that provides versatile audio playback and sound-shaping controls for your vehicle. It is equipped with a detachable, fold-down face for security and a multicolor display for easy navigation. The unit utilizes the Supertuner III for radio reception and includes an internal MOSFET50 amplifier rated at 22 watts RMS per channel. Audio customization is handled through the Easy EQ and Sound Focus EQ systems, offering a 3-band equalizer to fine-tune the output. The unit also includes two sets of preamp outputs, with the rear set switchable between full-range and subwoofer operation. If utilizing a subwoofer, a built-in low-pass filter with selectable frequencies of 50, 80, or 125 Hz is available. For expanded media capabilities, the receiver includes CD changer controls and is satellite radio ready, requiring an external XM tuner, antenna, and subscription to function. It maintains standard functionality for CD text and disc naming, and includes a wireless remote for convenient control.
