Description

The Design Engineering DEI 50411 is a D-Mat insulation sheet designed to act as a lightweight heat barrier and sound insulation. Made from a rubber polymer blend with a scrim backing, it measures 12mm thick and is gray in color.

This insulation can be used in applications up to 325 degrees F and offers up to a 65 percent reduction in heat, along with exceptional acoustic absorption. It is also resistant to mildew and bacteria. Installation is described as quick and easy using spray adhesive, standard mechanical fasteners, or by simply pushing it into cavities.
