The Design Engineering Inc. 10270 Onyx-Series Turbo Shield/Blanket, GEN-3 T6X, is a highly advanced turbo shield designed to control and manage heat generated by turbochargers. It features a silicone-coated Onyx Black outer layer with multiple stainless steel and silica inner layers for extreme durability and heat resistance. It includes one T6X size turbo shield and a 5-foot length of 22 gauge stainless steel wire for installation. The shield incorporates riveted anchors and reduces turbo lag by maintaining optimal exhaust gas temperatures.
