Description

The ONYX Series Gen-3 Turbo Shield T4 from Design Engineering Inc. is designed to withstand the harshest environments and maintain peak turbo performance. It features a new combination of an outer layer made of a proprietary silicone-coated outer shell, an inner layer constructed from 316L stainless steel mesh, and 0.5-inch thick silica insulation. This shield can withstand direct heat up to 1800°F and radiant heat up to 2800°F. The kit includes a turbo shield, two 14-inch stainless steel zip ties, and a 2-inch wide by 15-foot long exhaust wrap. It is designed for T4 frame turbochargers.
