Description

The Design Engineering 10529 is a muffler heat shield kit designed to reduce radiant heat. It is constructed from 10-mil dimpled aluminum with a 1/8-inch needle glass insulator. This kit helps protect from damaging heat and can achieve a cooler interior.

The kit includes one 42-inch by 24-inch muffler shield, four 40-inch by 1/2-inch positive locking ties, and one locking tie tool. It offers direct heat resistance up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit.
