The Siemens Deka IV fuel injector, part number FI114961, is a high-impedance, long-style injector designed to deliver enhanced engine performance and drivability. These genuine Siemens / Mototron injectors flow 60 lbs/hr at 43.5 PSI (3 BAR) and can deliver up to 85 lbs/hr at 87 PSI. Despite their high flow rate, they maintain linearity and control at low pulse widths, making them suitable for demanding applications like ULEV, and even turbocharged or supercharged environments that experience high fuel system pressures. Engineered for optimal performance, the DEKA 4 series injectors feature a multi-orifice tip that produces a true 30-degree spray cone. This optimized spray pattern improves fuel-air mixture preparation, leading to lower Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) and enhanced idle quality compared to injectors with simpler designs. The high-impedance nature of these injectors (12.5 Ohms coil resistance) ensures compatibility with most Electronic Control Units (ECUs) without requiring ECM driver modifications.
