The Siemens DEKA 4 (DEKA IV) High Impedance Injector offers a robust solution for performance fuel delivery needs. These injectors are manufactured by Siemens/Mototron and are designed to provide 80 lbs/hr of flow at 43.5 PSI (3 BAR), with the capability to flow even more at higher pressures. Despite their high flow rate, they maintain linearity and controllability at low pulse widths, enabling their use in ULEV applications without negatively impacting idle or low-speed driveability. They feature a high-impedance design, ensuring compatibility with most ECUs and factory PCM injector drivers, while still delivering significant flow. The EV1 Minitimer connector is a common interface found on many GM TBI, TPI, LT1, LT4, LS1, some LS2, and LS6 engines, as well as numerous European vehicle applications. Key specifications include a static flow rate of 80 lb/hr (875 cc/min) and a dynamic flow rate of 18.6 mg/pulse at a 2.5ms pulse width and 20 ms period. They have a coil resistance of 12 Ohms and utilize Viton O-rings. The DEKA 4 series is known for its reliability, excellent response characteristics, and robust design, offering high-impedance performance with compatibility benefits.
