The Siemens Deka DEKA IV (DEKA 4) is a genuine high-impedance fuel injector designed for enhanced engine performance and drivability. This long-style injector features an EV1 Minitimer connector and a multi-orifice tip, producing a 30-degree spray cone for optimal fuel atomization and mixture preparation. This design contributes to lower BSFC and improved idle quality compared to injectors with a less refined spray pattern. With a static flow rate of 60 lb/hr at 43.5 PSI (3 BAR) and a capability of up to 85.7 lb/hr at 87 PSI (600 kPa), these injectors offer significant flow capacity suitable for demanding applications. Despite their high flow rate, they maintain linearity and control at low pulse widths, making them suitable for ULEV applications and allowing for larger injector sizes without compromising idle or low-speed driveability.
