The Brian Tooley Racing Delphi Hydraulic LS7 Lifter Set (X12499225-16) offers a complete valvetrain refresh for a wide range of GM V8 engines. This set includes 16 Delphi hydraulic roller lifters, commonly referred to as LS7 lifters, packaged by Brian Tooley Racing. They are an excellent option for LS engine rebuilds, camshaft installations, or routine valvetrain maintenance, ensuring dependable operation for street cars, truck builds, and performance applications. Designed for hydraulic roller lifters, these units are compatible with numerous GM LS-based engines from 1997-2013, including 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, and 7.0L displacements (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LQ4, LQ9, LM7, LY5, LY6, etc.). They also fit compatible SBC and Gen 2 LT1 applications that were originally equipped with hydraulic roller lifters. Installation of these lifters requires specific procedures, including inspection for damage, cleaning away assembly grease with automotive solvent or mineral spirits, and verifying smooth roller movement before installation. BTR recommends using new, factory-style lifter guide trays and notes that there is no manufacturer warranty on these lifters. The recommended preload upon installation is .060" - .080".
