Delphi Hydraulic Roller Lifters

The Brian Tooley Racing X12499225-16 is a full set of Delphi hydraulic roller lifters, commonly referred to as LS7 lifters, designed for V8 applications. These lifters are a direct fit for SBC and LT1 engines that originally featured hydraulic roller lifters. They are also compatible with a wide range of Gen III, IV, and V GM V8 engine platforms, and potentially others. This set includes sixteen lifters, all featuring a hydraulic roller design with no link bars and a .842" diameter. The package also contains BTR-exclusive soaking and storage trays to assist with installation and maintenance. The manufacturer recommends using new, factory-type lifter trays during installation. Note that the BTR storage and soaking trays should not be used with harsh solvents like brake cleaner. Brian Tooley Racing recommends a specific cleaning procedure for these lifters upon receipt. This involves washing them in an automotive solvent tank or with mineral spirits to remove packing grease, followed by a check for roller binding or roughness before soaking them in oil. The recommended preload for installation is between .060" and .080".
