Delrin Bushing Short Shifter

The K-Tuned B/D Shifter offers a significant upgrade for vehicles equipped with B-Series and D-Series engines, providing a tighter and more precise shifting feel than OEM components. This shifter has been redesigned with key improvements focused on durability and performance. The original white plastic cage that holds the shifter ball has been replaced with a robust Delrin bushing. Delrin is chosen for its strength, chemical resistance, high abrasive resistance, and low coefficient of friction, ensuring smooth and long-lasting operation. This Delrin bushing is further protected by a TPV bushing to keep it clean. The base plate has also been upgraded from stamped steel to a 0.35-inch aluminum plate. This not only prevents rust but also adds rigidity and improves the overall feel of the shifter, addressing common issues of play or degradation found in stock plates. An additional threaded hole has been incorporated into the aluminum plate to further enhance rigidity and triangulate the assembly. The redesigned lower shaft features an adjustable throw mechanism, now accessible from inside the car. This adjustment is made easy with a 6061 aluminum black anodized shaft, machined with notches for simple up or down adjustment, and a sight hole for clear measurement against the numbered internal steel shaft. The shifter elbows are anodized black with machined logos and edges for a clean aesthetic. This shifter is compatible with B-Series Engines and D-Series Engines. However, it's important to note that for D15/D16 engines, the stock steel plate should be used, and the billet plate on the base should be removed and the factory plate reused. This shifter excludes EM2/ES1 D17 models.
