The Demon X-treme Heavy Duty Race Spec Tie Rods are designed for ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, and off-road race vehicles. They are crafted from 7075 aircraft-grade billet aluminum (over 70% stronger than 6061 aluminum) with heat-treated chromoly steel inner rod ends and chrome-plated heim joints. The tie rods feature a 1" oversized hexagonal design, are engineered to withstand aggressive riding and extreme conditions, and are equipped with 3-piece Chromoly PTFE-lined Heim joints capable of withstanding a radial static load of 28,000 lbs. They also feature high-grade stainless-steel hardware and spacers, and are easy to adjust without disassembly thanks to opposite thread ends and a jam nut securing system. The inner ball stud joint is made from 4135 Chromoly Alloy Steel with PTFE liners and protective CR boots, and the outboard heim joint has a radial static load rating of 17,990 lbs. The inboard heim joint has a radial static load rating of 28,080 lbs. The tie rods are fully assembled and can withstand over 2,200 lbs in bend tests.
