The 034 Motorsport Density Line Control Arm Kit serves as a direct, performance-oriented replacement for the aging and worn factory front control arms found on B8/B8.5 Audi A4/S4/RS4, A5/S5/RS5, Q5/SQ5, and 95B Porsche Macan models, as well as C7/C7.5 Audi A6/S6/RS6 and A7/S7/RS7 vehicles. These kits address the common issues of degraded bushings and play in ball joints that compromise alignment and steering precision, especially in enthusiast-driven vehicles. This comprehensive kit includes all eight factory front upper and lower control arms, two new M14 ball joints (offering an upgrade for vehicles originally equipped with M12 ball joints), and the necessary hardware for installation. The control arms feature high-durometer rubber bushings (65 Durometer) and are designed to minimize unwanted deflection within the suspension system. This results in significantly improved handling feel and steering precision compared to stock components, even when the stock parts are new. Fitment for this kit spans a wide range of Audi and Porsche models, including various years of the A4, S4, RS4, A5, S5, RS5, Q5, SQ5, Allroad, A6, A7, S6, and S7, as well as multiple Porsche Macan variants. Crucially, specific fitment for B8/B8.5 models depends on the build date, requiring selection between 'Early' (M12 - up to Nov 2, 2009) and 'Late' (M14 - from Nov 3, 2009) kits. Similarly, C7/C7.5 A6/A7 models require selection between 'Early' (M12 - up to Aug 15, 2011) and 'Late' (M14 - from Aug 15, 2011), with C7 S6/S7 exclusively using the 'Late' M14 option. It is imperative to select the correct option to ensure proper fitment. Installation requires careful attention to procedure to avoid premature bushing failure. It is critical that the suspension be compressed to static ride height before tightening any suspension pivot bushings, as per the factory procedure. Failure to do so will introduce excessive twisting forces on the bushings, leading to premature tearing. 034Motorsport's warranty does not cover failures resulting from improper installation. Professional installation is highly recommended. For C7/C7.5 A6/A7 models, the OE upper control arm mounting bolts must be reused or replaced with N 912 005 01, as the provided bolts are not long enough. New outer tie rod ends are sold separately. NVH levels are rated as None to Low, though user experience may vary.
