Density Line Motor Mount

The 034 Motorsport Density Line Motor Mounts are engineered to be a direct replacement for factory engine mounts, offering a significant upgrade in performance and durability. These mounts are constructed from high-durometer rubber, a superior damping medium compared to polyurethane, providing better performance under both tension and compression, and excellent shear resistance. The void-free and fluid-free design eliminates drivetrain slop and reduces engine movement under load, leading to more direct power transfer and improved shifting feel. Available in two densities: Street Density uses 50 durometer rubber, approximately 10% stiffer than stock, resulting in a mount that is about 25% stiffer overall. This option is recommended for daily-driven vehicles, offering increased performance with only a minimal increase in cabin noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Track Density utilizes 80 durometer rubber, about 90% stiffer than stock, making the mount roughly 120% stiffer overall. This option is recommended for track-focused vehicles or those prioritizing a locked-down drivetrain and willing to accept a noticeable increase in NVH. These mounts are sold individually, with one vehicle requiring two mounts. The steel mount bases are stronger than the factory aluminum components. Fitment includes a wide range of B5, B6, B7, and C5 Audi models, as well as B5 Volkswagen Passat. Note that Tiptronic vehicles with active mounts on B6/B7 A4 models require specific resistor bypasses to prevent MIL illumination. Installation involves torquing the nuts to the factory specification of 25 Nm (18.5 ft-lbs) to avoid damaging the mount.
