Density Line Motor Mount

The 034Motorsport Density Line Motor Mounts are engineered to enhance performance for the B6/B7 Audi S4/RS4 and C5 Audi A6/S6/RS6/Allroad models equipped with the 4.2L V8 engine. These mounts aim to resolve issues of unwanted engine movement under load and drivetrain slop experienced with stock components. Constructed with a 50 durometer rubber by OE suppliers to 034Motorsport's specifications, these mounts are approximately 10% stiffer than factory units. This increased stiffness, combined with the elimination of internal voids and fluid cavities found in OEM mounts, leads to a significant 25% reduction in drivetrain movement. The bases are manufactured from steel, not aluminum, further contributing to durability and performance. NVH levels are characterized as low to medium, meaning some increase in cabin noise, vibration, and harshness may be noticeable compared to stock. Fitment includes the 2003-2005 Audi S4 (B6) 4.2L V8, 2006-2008 Audi S4 (B7) 4.2L V8, 2007-2008 Audi RS4 (B7) 4.2L FSI, 1999-2005 Audi Allroad (C5) 4.2L V8, 1999-2004 Audi A6/S6 (C5) 4.2L V8, and 2002-2004 Audi RS6 (C5) 4.2T. It is important to note that vehicles equipped with Active Engine Mounts from the factory will require the separately sold Active Motor Mount Resistor Bypasses to prevent a check engine light. The nuts for these mounts should be torqued to the factory specification of 25 Nm (approximately 18.5 ft. lbs.) to avoid damage.
