Density Line Motor Mount

The 034 Motorsport Density Line Motor Mount offers a significant upgrade for B5, B6, B7, and C5 Audi, as well as B5 Volkswagen models, providing a new standard in both comfort and performance. Designed with performance in mind, these mounts are constructed from high-durometer rubber, available in either 50 durometer (Street Density) or 80 durometer (Track Density). The void-free and fluid-free, solid-filled construction eliminates the unwanted flex and slop associated with factory mounts. This results in greatly reduced drivetrain slop, crisper shifting, and more direct power transfer for improved driving dynamics. The steel bases provide superior strength compared to the original aluminum components, ensuring durability under spirited driving conditions. 034 Motorsport recommends the Street Density mounts for daily-driven vehicles, offering a performance increase with minimal NVH transfer. The Track Density mounts are for dedicated track cars or drivers who prefer a locked-down drivetrain and do not mind a noticeable increase in cabin noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). These mounts are a complete, drop-in replacement for factory engine mounts and are sold individually, with two mounts required per vehicle. Fitment includes various Audi A4, S4, RS4, A6, and Allroad models from 1996-2008, as well as Volkswagen Passat models from 1998-2005. Please note that Tiptronic vehicles with active mounts on B7 A4 models require two Resistor Bypasses to prevent the MIL from illuminating. The nuts should be torqued to 25 Nm (approx. 18.5 ft. lbs.) to avoid damage.
