Density Line Street Dogbone Mount

The 034Motorsport Density Line Dogbone Mount is engineered for Mk4 Chassis Volkswagen and 8L & 8N Chassis Audi models, offering a significant upgrade over the factory component. Specifically, the Street Density variant utilizes 60 durometer rubber, making it approximately 60% stiffer than the stock mount. This increased stiffness leads to reduced drivetrain slop, decreased engine movement under load, more direct power transfer, and an improved shifting feel. The void-free construction eliminates unnecessary movement, resulting in crisper shifts and minimized wheel hop, even under spirited driving conditions. 034Motorsport chose high-durometer rubber over polyurethane for its superior damping capabilities in both tension and compression, as well as its effectiveness in shear. Unlike polyurethane, rubber does not pack or wear down over time, ensuring a long-lasting part with consistent performance and comfort. The cast aluminum mount bodies are also redesigned to withstand the stresses of performance driving. This mount is a complete drop-in replacement for the factory dogbone mount. A note from the manufacturer indicates that the black steel bracket on the small end may arrive loose due to a light factory crimp, but this is normal and does not affect structural integrity as the bolts secure the bracket.
