The 034Motorsport Density Line Motor Mount Kit - Street Density offers a significant upgrade over stock engine mounts. These mounts are engineered with performance and durability in mind, utilizing high-durometer rubber for enhanced responsiveness without a substantial increase in cabin noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH). The void-free and solid-filled construction eliminates the slop typically associated with factory mounts, leading to reduced drivetrain play, crisper shifting, and minimized wheel hop. Manufactured from 50 durometer rubber, these Street Density mounts are approximately 10% stiffer than OEM, resulting in a mount that is about 25% stiffer overall. The bases are constructed from steel, providing superior strength compared to factory aluminum components to withstand the demands of spirited driving. This kit serves as a complete drop-in replacement for your factory engine mounts. 034Motorsport specifically chooses high-durometer rubber over polyurethane for its damping medium due to rubber's superior ability to handle stress in both tension and compression, as well as its effectiveness in shear applications. Unlike polyurethane, rubber does not pack and wear over time, ensuring consistent performance and comfort for a longer lifespan. The kit includes two Density Line Street Density Motor Mounts and features a Lifetime Replacement Program. Installation is estimated to take approximately 4 hours. Please note that Tiptronic vehicles with active mounts require two 034 Resistor Bypasses (ES2864610) to prevent the MIL from illuminating.
