The Honda OEM 16450-RWC-A01 is a genuine Acura RDX fuel injector, manufactured by Denso. This injector is rated at 410cc at 38 psi and 550cc at 70psi, offering significantly higher flow than the factory Type-S (310 cc) injectors. Its improved spray pattern enhances fuel atomization, providing increased fuel flow crucial for K-series engines, especially in stock or modified naturally aspirated applications with upgrades like cams, valvetrain, or intake manifolds. These injectors are a popular upgrade for stock and modified K-series engines. If your stock bottom end motor has performance enhancements such as cams, valvetrain, or an upgraded intake manifold, it may be exceeding the duty cycle of the factory Type-S injectors. The 16450-RWC-A01 provides the necessary fuel capacity for these performance levels. Installation of these higher-flowing injectors requires engine management tuning. Without proper tuning, performance and engine health can be compromised. For certain applications, like 9th Gen Civic and 1st Gen ILX models, plug-and-play injector clips are available separately to facilitate installation.
