The Denso FK20HR11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug offers a premium ignition solution for a wide range of vehicles. It boasts a 0.7mm iridium-tipped, laser-welded fine wire center electrode paired with a platinum-tipped ground electrode, designed to provide a strong, consistent spark for optimal combustion. Construction highlights include machine-rolled threads that facilitate easy installation and removal without seizing or cross-threading. The purified alumina powder insulator provides exceptional strength and superior thermal conductivity, crucial for managing high engine temperatures. Additionally, a five-rib design on the insulator prevents flashover, ensuring a reliable electrical path. A copper-glass seal mechanically and electrically bonds the center electrode and insulator, creating a gas-tight seal that further enhances performance and durability. The plug is also 100% pre-fired to guarantee the highest quality out of the box. With a specified longevity of 80,000 to 100,000 miles, the FK20HR11 is built for extended service intervals. Key specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, and a 26.5mm reach. The gap is set at .043" (1.1mm), and the terminal type is solid. The part information lists a 12-month warranty. Torque specifications vary by cylinder head material: 26-30 lb. ft. for cast iron and 15-22 lb. ft. for aluminum.
