Derringer Tuner 6.7L Cummins

The Banks Power Derringer Tuner (MPN 67119) is engineered to deliver significant torque and power gains across the entire operating RPM range for 2019 and newer Ram 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins engine. It provides a noticeable difference from idle to the shift point, enhancing both daily driving and load-carrying capabilities. The tuner utilizes multiple data inputs from the vehicle's ECM, including throttle position, RPM, vehicle speed, AFR, knock, coolant temperature, and EGT, to actively optimize calibrations in real-time. It is warranty-friendly as it does not require an ECM reflash and leaves no traces. The Derringer tuner connects inline with the truck's engine sensors and also interfaces with the OBD-II diagnostic bus, enabling intelligent, real-time adaptation to vehicle operating conditions such as engine temperature, gear, atmospheric pressure, and driver inputs. It features 6 power levels that can be adjusted on the fly using a Banks iDash DataMonster or SuperGauge (sold separately). Advanced safety features are integrated to protect the engine and powertrain. ActiveSafety circuitry monitors the system 100 times per second and will seamlessly bypass the tuner to return the vehicle to stock power if an issue is detected. AutoRate technology dynamically adjusts fuel and boost pressure based on driving conditions and atmospheric pressure, and it automatically adjusts power if knock is detected. TransCommand works to protect the transmission by monitoring and modulating torque converter slip and hydraulic pressure for smoother power delivery and to prevent damage. This tuner requires the Banks iDash DataMonster or SuperGauge, which are not included. It is compatible with both standard and HO 6.7L Cummins engines and is also compatible with the Banks PedalMonster throttle booster.
