The RetroSound Detroit Radio is the most technologically advanced radio designed specifically for your classic 1964-1966 Ford Mustang. Its compact size allows for easy and discreet installation behind the dash, providing a fully integrated appearance without the need for additional faceplates or bezels. This radio offers a selectable tuner for USA, EU, and Japan frequencies, alongside AM/FM radio capabilities. This model, the DET-M4-04-74, is part of the Motor 4HD feature set, offering exclusive RetroSound Radio App support, Bluetooth streaming and hands-free calling, SiriusXM Ready capability, and dual USB ports for expanded connectivity. It boasts a power output of 25W x 4 RMS, non-volatile memory for station presets, and front and rear RCA pre-amp outputs, including a dedicated subwoofer output with a variable crossover. The radio requires a 10.5–14.4V power supply and has a current consumption of max 15A during operation and 3.5 mA when the car is off. It is compatible only with 12V negative grounding vehicles from the 1964-1966 model years.
