Description

The Dewalt 41603 is an auto-darkening welding helmet designed to protect your eyes from UV and IR light without limiting your view. It features four lightning-fast arc sensors that engage in 1/15,000 of a second, and two DIN 5 side lenses for a wide, panoramic viewing area of 20.4 square inches.

This helmet offers independent shade control for fine-tuning the DIN level, with modes for grinding (DIN 4), cutting (DIN 5-8), and welding (DIN 9-13). The outer shell is rated ANSI Z87+ for impact protection, and it includes an adjustable delay from 0.2 seconds. A CR2450 battery powers the helmet, augmented by a solar cell for continuous charging.
