This fluid is engineered with improved performance characteristics over previous DEXRON fluids, specifically in friction durability, viscosity stability, aeration and foam control, and oxidation resistance. Its formulation provides essential anti-wear protection and shear stability, crucial for the longevity of your transmission. This ACDelco Dexron VI fluid is backward compatible with earlier DEXRON automatic transmission fluids. It can be used as a direct and improved replacement for older vehicles or transmissions that originally specified previous DEXRON fluid types. The fluid comes in a 1-quart container and is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
