Overview

OEM technology is getting better and better every year. At DFC, we endeavor to match the latest technologies as applied by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Each rotor is engineered to match the OE vane configuration, including the OE split-core technology to ensure proper and maximum heat dissipation. Additionally, all cores are dipped with a specifically formulated paint to provide a smoother finish inside the vane structure, improving air flow and reducing machining required for balancing. The castings are machined to tight tolerances (0.010mm disc thickness variation, 0.050mm maximum lateral runout, and 1.6 RMS fine-turned finish) to create a smooth surface for improved initial break-in. Each rotor passes a 100% electronic inspection to meet OE specifications. A genuine GEOMET® Finish is applied for superior corrosion protection, which is processed dry, shipped dry, and ready to install without additional preparation. The GEOMET® coating is safely swept away by the friction material without harmful effects.
