DFC 02-23 Mack Freedom (Air Disc Brakes) Fr & Rr Heavy Duty Pads - Semi Metallic

Designed for passenger and light-duty trucks, DFC 3000 Brake Pads are formulated to provide optimal and reliable stopping performance, excellent fade resistance, low dust, and stable friction performance across a wide temperature range. They are 100% post-cured and scorched to ensure stable friction performance and minimize the initial break-in period. The pads are assembled with DFC Premium Rubber-Steel-Rubber shims for improved NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) characteristics. An underlayer promotes better friction to plate adhesion, minimizes noise, and acts as a thermal barrier to reduce heat transfer to the caliper fluid. The premium semi-metallic formulation offers excellent pad life, is rotor-friendly, virtually noise-free, and low-dust. These pads are 100% Copper Free Eco Friendly and adhere to California and Washington low copper requirements for 2021/2025. They are chamfered and slotted (where applicable) to reduce noise when braking and positively molded to promote consistent friction material density.
