OEM technology is getting better and better every year. At DFC, we endeavor to match the latest technologies as applied by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Each rotor is engineered to match the OE vane configuration, including the OE split-core technology to ensure proper and maximum heat dissipation. Additionally, all core are dipped with a specifically formulated paint to provide a smoother finish inside the vane structure. The smooth finish will improve air flow as well as reduce the amount of machining required to properly balance the finished rotor during the mill-balancing process. Each rotor is machined to the tightest tolerances available in the market today (guaranteed .010mm disc thickness variation (DTV) and .050mm maximum lateral runout, regularly achieving .007mm DTV and .025mm maximum lateral runout). Rotors are fine-turned to a maximum of 1.6 RMS for a smoother finish, improving initial break-in. Each rotor passes a 100% electronic inspection. GEOMET® Finish is applied for superior corrosion protection, is processed dry, and ready to install without additional preparation. The coating is simply and safely swept away by the friction material. Environmentally friendly: Meets EPA, Chrysler CS-9003, GM GMW 3059, Ford WSS-M99P9999-A1 (Hex 9), EU Directives on ELV and RoHS. Free of chromium, nickel, cadmium, lead, barium, and mercury. Engineered with premium G3000/G11H18 iron castings for strength, stability, and durability. High Carbon iron formulations (Molybdenum, Chromium, and Carbon) enhance noise dampening, high strength, and increased thermal conductivity.
