Description
This rotor is constructed from premium G3000/G11H18 iron castings for strength and durability. It features an Original Equipment (OE) vane configuration for proper heat dissipation and is dipped with a special paint for a smoother vane structure, improving airflow and rotor balance. The rotor is machined to tight tolerances, ensuring a disc thickness variation of .010mm maximum and a lateral runout of .050 mm maximum, with actual performance often exceeding these specifications. It is fine-turned to a maximum of 1.6 RMS for an improved initial break-in between the pad and rotor.
Each rotor undergoes a 100% electronic inspection to meet OE specifications. It is coated with a GEOMET® finish for superior corrosion protection and is ready to install without additional preparation, saving time and money during installation. The GEOMET® coating is environmentally friendly and free of toxic metals.
