DFC 97-02 Ford Expedition Front & Rear Rotors

OEM technology is getting better every year. DFC endeavors to match the latest technologies applied by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Each rotor is engineered to match the OE vane configuration, including OE split-core technology for proper and maximum heat dissipation. Cores are dipped with a specifically formulated paint for a smoother finish inside the vane structure, improving airflow and reducing machining required for mill-balancing. Rotors are machined to tightest tolerances (.010mm Disc Thickness Variation (DTV) and .050mm maximum lateral runout, regularly achieving .007mm DTV and .025mm maximum lateral runout). Fine-turned to a maximum of 1.6 RMS for a smooth finish and improved initial break-in. 100% electronic inspection measures over 20 attributes to ensure OE specifications are met. Coupled with application-specific DFC brake pads, these rotors provide optimal braking. Features GEOMET® Finish for superior corrosion protection, ready to install without additional preparation. Environmentally friendly, free of toxic metals. Engineered with premium G3000/G11H18 iron castings for strength, stability, and durability. High Carbon iron formulations (Molybdenum, Chromium, and Carbon) enhance noise dampening, strength, and thermal conductivity for increased durability, especially for European and heavy vehicles.
