The Centerforce DFX Extreme Performance Clutch Kit 315474898 provides increased holding power for modified and upgraded trucks. Engineered for high-end applications demanding increased integrity and clutch holding capacity, the DFX Series offers excellent drivability from a race-inspired single-disc clutch kit. It is rated at up to 900 ft-lbs of torque capacity and is designed for Dodge Ram 2500/3500 models with the 5.9L diesel and NV4500 5-speed transmission, and some early models with the NV5600 6-speed and 1-1/4" input shaft. This kit includes a heavy-duty pressure plate, precision-balanced flywheel, and a full-face cerametallic friction disc. It features Centerforce's patented centrifugal weight system (where applicable) and a patented ball bearing-actuated diaphragm for easy pedal effort and smooth engagements. The Centerforce DFX performance clutch system is SFI approved for competition, with nodular iron pressure plate rings and reinforcements to prevent drive strap breakage and enhance safety.
