The Hertz DCX1653 Dieci Series car audio coaxial speakers are meticulously crafted to meet installation needs while delivering Hertz's renowned quality and performance. These 2-way coaxial speakers are designed for a linear frequency response and exceptional reliability, ensuring a dynamic and emotional sound experience. Key components include a Neodymium magnet for the tweeter, a PEI dome for high frequencies, and a water-repellent pressed paper cone for the woofer. The speakers also feature a TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) surround for wide excursion and resonance damping, and a built-in crossover. With a 6.5-inch woofer size, they handle 60 watts of RMS power and a peak of 120 watts, operating at a 4 Ohm impedance. The frequency response spans from 60 Hz to 21 kHz, with a sensitivity of 93 dB, allowing for clear, crisp sound with improved highs and balanced mid-bass. Installation is facilitated by a DIN size basket protected by abrasion-proof dust paint and tin-plated, high-current terminals. The package includes everything needed for installation: two 6.5-inch 4 Ohm speakers, mounting screws, speed clips, a template, and an owner's manual. The Dieci DCX 160.3 series also includes an adaptor ring for installation in GM and Honda models with 6-inch OEM speakers.
