The Monark DN0SD261 fuel injector nozzle is a critical wear part for your Mercedes-Benz diesel engine's fuel delivery system. Manufactured in Germany, these nozzles feature a new design that enhances atomization by producing a finer mist spray pattern compared to traditional Bosch tips. This improved spray pattern can lead to better fuel burn, especially in higher mileage engines, and may reduce injector "nailing" or pinging noise. They are particularly recommended for owners running SVO, WVO, or B100 (waste vegetable oil) fuels, as their design is less prone to plugging compared to Bosch tips. They are also suitable for modern diesel fuels. Key compatibility includes 1986-1993 OM603 engines, 1987 124 chassis 300D and 300TD, and 1994-1995 S350 models. Importantly, these nozzles WILL NOT fit the 1995 E300D. When installing, it is crucial to replace the crushable heat shield washers, which are included with this purchase, and it is highly recommended to replace the rubber fuel return hoses, as old hoses often become hardened and prone to leaks.
