The MFactory Helical Limited Slip Differential (LSD) offers a significant performance advantage by smoothly and constantly distributing power to the wheels, thereby maximizing traction. This unit is ideal for competition vehicles, whether they are built for street, drag strip, or circuit racing. Precision-engineered using Solidworks 3D CAD and Cosmos FEA software, the LSD features advanced gear geometry designed to minimize parasitic drivetrain losses, allowing for an estimated 1-2% increase in power transfer to the ground compared to competitors. The 2nd Generation MFactory v2 Helical LSD is highlighted as being lighter, stronger, and more efficient than other torque-biasing differentials available. Constructed from imported Japanese SAE 4320 & SAE 9310 Steel, the differential is forged, double-tempered, and Super Sub-Zero treated to ensure extreme toughness. Only Brighton-Best hardware is utilized in its assembly. The MFactory Helical LSD offers maintenance-free gears, eliminating the need for special fluids or rebuilds common with plate-type LSDs. Its lock-free operation ensures no adverse effect on steering response. This differential is compatible with Honda H22A and F20B engines, and specifically fits the 1991-2001 Honda Prelude models. MFactory Competition Products provides a limited lifetime warranty for all Helical LSDs, covering defects in materials and workmanship, provided the product is professionally installed.
