The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA434-1932E is a remanufactured complete axle assembly built for the Dana 44 differential, specifically for the 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 equipped with Rear Wheel ABS and a 3.54 gear ratio. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure precision and reliability. Zumbrota Drivetrain thoroughly inspects all components, including the main housing, for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal parts such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers are 100% inspected and tested. To guarantee optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The gears are meticulously inspected for proper tooth contact patterns, and correct rolling torque is set using inch-pound measurements for precise setup. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs a unique cleaning process that includes hydro-blasting and sandblasting, followed by a proprietary shot-peening treatment. This extensive cleaning procedure restores the housing to an OEM finish, setting a high standard for remanufactured axle assemblies. The axle tubes are also inspected to meet OEM standards for straightness. This assembly includes the main housing and all internal components. It does not include axles, ball joints, spindles, steering components, or brakes. A 2-year limited warranty is included with this product.
