Differential Drop Kit

The Dobinsons DD59-532K is a full differential drop kit engineered for the Toyota 100 Series Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 models manufactured between 1998 and 2007. This kit is specifically recommended for vehicles that have been lifted 2 inches or more. It achieves its purpose by rotating the front differential carrier downwards, which effectively reduces the operating angles of the front CV axles. This reduction in CV axle angles is crucial for mitigating excessive wear and preventing potential damage to the CV joints, especially under the stress of a lifted suspension. By maintaining more optimal drivetrain geometry, the kit helps to enhance the longevity of these critical components and ensures smoother, more reliable performance. It includes all necessary hardware for installation, such as machined spacers and nuts/bolts. Note that the lowering of the differential housing may affect the fitment of some factory and/or aftermarket skid plates; while skid plate spacers are included, some installers may opt not to reinstall the skid plate after the differential has been lowered.
