The Wavetrac Differential is a state-of-the-art helical gear differential, designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA by Autotech Driveline. This differential is engineered with advanced gear tooth forms optimized for strength and improved oil film retention, resulting in a smaller, more durable package. Its unique design includes a patented cam device that creates internal load during zero axle load conditions, preventing wheelspin and maintaining drive on the gripping wheel. Constructed from the highest quality materials, the Wavetrac Differential features internal gears made from high-strength 9310 alloy steel and diff bodies machined from case-hardened steel billet. This differential is designed as an OEM replacement for the HAG215 rear axle found in various Mercedes-Benz AMG models, including the E55/E63 W211 & W212, C63 W204, C55 W203, SL55 SL65 R230, CLS63, SL600 R230, CLK63 CLK55 '04+ W209, CLK500 '04+ W209, and SLK55 R171. Details regarding OEM replacement bearing information and differential ring gear bolt torque specifications (75 ft lbs for MBZ #0049904112) are provided. Each Wavetrac Differential comes with a transferable, Limited Lifetime Warranty.
