The USA Standard Gear ZP MINSF9-28 is a differential mini spool engineered for Ford 9-inch rear ends featuring 28-spline axles. Its primary function is to lock the differential, providing 100% traction to both wheels at all times. This ensures that when one wheel loses grip, the other continues to receive power, maximizing forward momentum in challenging conditions. This mini spool is specifically recommended for off-road use and hardcore applications. Due to its full-time locked differential design, it is not recommended for street-driven vehicles as it can cause tire scrubbing, increased wear, and poor handling on pavement. The product is backed by a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. This mini spool is compatible with a wide range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles, including models like the Bronco, E-series vans, F-series trucks, Fairlane, Falcon, Galaxie, Maverick, Mustang, Ranchero, Thunderbird, Mark III, Cougar, and Grand Marquis, primarily from the 1950s through the 1980s.
