The AWR Racing differential mount is a custom-fabricated chassis component designed to address traction and durability issues experienced by Ford Explorer ST and 6th generation Police Interceptor owners. Initially, Ford equipped these vehicles with four large rubber bushings for the rear differential, but later eliminated one on ST and base models, potentially due to cost-cutting. This omission can lead to traction launching problems, reduced durability, and even hardware failures, with the risk of the OEM bolt breaking and causing significant repair costs. This AWR Racing mount is proudly made in the USA, featuring laser-cut and CNC-folded steel construction that is TIG welded for superior strength and precision. It comes equipped with high-performance 88 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, which provide enhanced support while minimizing NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) once installed. The durable powder-coated finish is available in either gloss black or gloss red, offering both protection and aesthetic appeal.
