The Powerflex PFR5-526 is a performance-grade differential mount bushing engineered to replace the original rubber components in specific BMW E39 5 Series models. Its construction from advanced polyurethane material contributes to both enhanced performance and durability. Powerflex is known for its extensive experience in automotive suspension and chassis systems, leveraging advanced polyurethane manufacturing techniques to produce high-performance components. The PFR5-526 features the 'Street Purple' compound, which is suitable for daily driven cars and offers a balance between performance and everyday usability, without significantly increasing noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH). This compound is a dark grey color, intended to mimic the appearance of OEM rubber bushings for a more discreet installation. The PFR5-526 is specifically designed for the BMW E39 5 Series, including the 525i, 528i, 530i, 540i (Sedan and Touring), and M5 models, generally covering years from 1995 to 2004. Installation involves removing the original rubber bushes from the sub-frame and replacing them with the Powerflex components. Powerflex provides installation instructions with their kits to aid in the process.
